put some Aluminum foil in your modem wires and you'll have fast internet connection?

Maybe. But probably not. If your internet connection is getting slowed down because of interference, Then the foil will act as a shield and reduce the error rate and the need to resend packets. That will cause the internet connection to appear to run faster. But shielded cat-5 or cat-6 will do the same thing.

By placing an aluminum foil on your modem won't affect your connection speed.The only thing that will be affected by doing this is your WiFi signal will be strengthened.
