I've seen others on my friends list with emojis in their usernames on instagram. I have an iPhone and have the emoji keyboard enabled. When I try to add an emoji to my username it says you can only use letters, numbers or underscores. How do I add the emojis? Please dont say "you can't" because I HAVE seen others on my friends list with the emojis in their usernames, so there is obviously a way.
I actually figured it out on my own. You can only add the emojis to the first and last name lines right above the username line.

Maybe something is wrong with your phone. I just created an instagram & I used an emoji and it worked perfectly.
