Don't get caught up in the whole movie thing, but facebook is great! it's a great social networking tool to connect you with friends!!!

I don't like facebook.
The reasons;
It creates a false sense of security for the participants.
One of the goals of the users is the number of 'Friends" the participants have.
This gives the user a false sense of confidence. They sincerely believe they are popular because they have a greater number than their counterparts.
The information you input into Facebook doesn't go away. People can access the information, and use it against you.

I would like to see the people get out and about and network face to face with people. They will certainly gain a lot more confidence in them selves,and develop better communication skills. All I see is people locked away in a room chatting to some one they believe is a real person, and chatting about unverifiable issues. And whats more some people believe them.

If you do get a Facebook account I would reccomend that you follow these tips:
1. Only add real friends that you truly know. (don't try to add tons of friends)
2. Control your privacy settings. (control who sees what about you)
3. Don't spend too much time online (get together with real people)
These tips will help make Facebook a good experience for you.
