Should I feel confident about recruiters adding me on FB? - dixkid003 - 05-24-2014 10:08 AM

I've gotten friend requests and/or letters from Concordia University(St. Paul, MN), Bemidji State University(Bemidji, MN) and Gustavus Adolphus College(St. Peter, MN). Is that something to be confident about when considering college? Or is that not very good? I've only had 2 of those recruiters contact me, but I feel as if it's a good deal.

Any input would be appreciated, I'm just not sure how this recruiting thing is supposed to go.

I'm a football player, by the way.

Friend requests?
Doubts if any real college football recruiters are using Facebook friend requests.

The fact that you are getting friend requests from college recruiters should be considered as a good thing. This means that college football programs have interest in you.

However, at the end of the day, your chances of playing college football will depend on your performance in football during your senior year of high school. If you perform very well in football during your senior year of high school, you will greatly improve your chances of getting recruited to play for a college football program, such as Concordia University, Bemidji State University, or Gustavus Adolphus College.
