is there any chance my friend will get verified on twitter? He gets identity confusion all the time, he has almost 11,000 followers, (and growing by like over 100 a day.) How can he get verified (with the little white tick in the blue cloud) and should he bother? Will twitter verify him, and how can he ask? Do you just dm @verified ? Also i know "verification is not currently open to the public, and twitter cannot accept public requests" but should he try? Thanks

Only famous persons get verified on Twitter [If twitter employees sees them]r if you want unlimited followers head to twiends.com and also follow back @aviral_liberty

The whole point of verification is to enable Twitter users to differentiate between the genuine celebrity they wish to follow and people like your friend who may be mistaken for a celebrity. This is why he will not get verified and why he shouldn't try!
