Keyword research. Your youtube videos are your advertisements, so you shouldn't have to advertise them, since youtube is a high ranking site in google. I have many videos with half a million views within a year or two, and it's because of keyword research, also known as SEO. You choose your title and keywords very carefully, and your videos will rank well in Google, and in about a month, the views will start rolling in.

Make a blog for your youtube channel and post it there. Post it on message boards. There's not really much you can do. if you have friends/subscribers on youtube they might be willing to advertise it on their channel.

You can use general chat forum to make your video popular once you have nice number of views you will get popular
