Hello, on the Internet? - 852 - 05-25-2014 03:54 AM

Is a download speed of 36.73Mb/s and an upload speed of 9.97Mb/s considered reasonable (I never know what they mean!). Does it mean if I download a photo from the Internet that it will download it at 36.73Mb/s and if I upload a photo to the Internet it will upload at 9.97Mb/s?

Thanks

Not exactly, but extremely simplified yeah.

And if by reasonable you mean good and trustworthy, then yes. Upload speed could be better, but it's still pretty good.

Your speed is fine. But you can only download as fast as the site you are connected to. An Example: If there are 10M people Saturday night streaming Gangnam Style from YouTube you may find videos you try and watch are slow with lots of buffering. While your speed should be able to stream 1080p HD just fine you won't be able to because YouTube is so busy.

I am on a connection 10mb/s and upload speed of 0.95, So your connection is very good.. and very reasonable..

If get your a good connection to site your download from downloading a 3mb picture will take seconds...
