All the messages that I have sent to other people show up in my Inbox on Facebook. Why is that?

Any message you sent & the reply in FB will be in Inbox; it's like a chatting; yes, that's diffrent than in ordinary email, in there you differ Inbox & Sent folder.

Yes, it is universal feature of all message sending services.
Hope you will understand.
But you have deleted it by manually.
