How do you make a campaign website? - Jared - 05-27-2014 12:07 AM

Hi... A family in my neighborhood just recently lost their 10 year old son.... It is really depressing and I want to do something to help out. They are in debt now and I want to help them out and start a campaign website. I was just wondering how it would be possible to start this?

Actually, social network work great for help them to search for the boy.

If you really need to create a campaign website, you can try to use Wix to create simple website for showing the details.

Or you can use Wufoo to create a simple web form, so people can contact they directly.

You will find actually getting people to the site is the greater challenge, in any case if you do get something setup you might write an engaging press release that links to the site you use, there are free press release distributor sites that might get it picked up by bloggers and automated news sites. It might take a paid press release site like $89 prweb.com to get your story seen by mainstream media.

Some people try to adapt crowd funding site for businesses like Kickstarter.com for personal causes, there are sites geared for charitable causes, of course they are magnets for scam artists, proving the legitimacy of your cause is probably a big issue

crowdrise.com

firstgiving.com
justgiving.com

http://www.indiegogo.com is one unregulated Fundraiser site charging 4%, 9% fees that might have more charity causes,.

One such site gone wrong:
