I've heard that some people just meet them beause the band thinks "Paying for meet and greets are s**t" But I was just wondering if this was true.

Oliver Sykes did disparage at least one band that sold meet-and-greet tickets.
Sleeping With Sirens band announced a United States tour where fans can pay $80.00 for a package deal that included an opportunity to meet the band members.
Mister Sykes announced on Twitter: "Next USA tour! Oli Sykes special polaroid package! Take a photo with me! Special price! Absolutely no charge at all!"
