How do I stop a certain person I am friends with on Facebook from seeing groups I have joined on her newsfeed? - kate - 11-09-2012 08:02 AM

I don't want to delete her from my friends list but don't want her to see the groups I join appearing on her newsfeed once i join.

the best thing you can do is block this person, though I doubt it will do any good.

Account > Privacy Settings > Block Lists

Or you can try the 'Customize Settings' on the same page as Privacy Settings, but this is more complicated

On your profile page:-
You may try to remove the notification saying that you have joined a certain group so not to appear on her newsfeed .

The stories that appear on your friends’ home pages are based on the content you publish, the settings of your Publisher Control, and your friends’ filter preferences. While your friends can always choose to hide content that you publish, you can ensure that they have to option to view your stories by changing the settings on your Publisher Control.
