SEO is so hard for me? - 334 - 05-28-2014 01:45 AM

I'm working in a company, they have given me two projects.
1) http://www.howtoearnprofitonline.com (keyword is - Make Money Online
2) http://cluwak.com (Keyword is - Kopi Luwak)

I do 10 blog comments, 30 directory comments, 5 forum postings, 10 article submissions everyday. It has been a month but I didn't get any result so far.

I wonder if I'm doing anything wrong? Please help me know what I should do. I'm really very frustrated.

Hey,

Well there is more to SEO then just what you have above. From my expierence ( which is not a whole lot, just built and did my websites http://www.arapahoebailbondsman.com) I can tell you that you need to do a variety of different stuff.

So I take it your trying to rank for the organic sections on google.

Step 1 would be to make sure your website is set up right. Try and find a friend or get in touch with someone who can give you some insight.

Step 2 would be to create links, manual links are always the best, don't pay some service to spam out your listing because those links are not as good as manual ones. Links comes from directories, websites, and much more.

Step 3 would be social media, make sure you have a google + page ( not a google places page), a facebook page, twitter, and every possible thing you can find.

Step 4 ( this is the hard one) is to try and get yourself on a high ranking page such as local new sites,

Step 5, Step 5 would be search around on the internet and try and find articles about SEO and how to get high rankings. Some of them will be better then other and take what you can from those sites.

Well I hope my information helped, It might be good or it might be bad Im not sure.

PS I just though of something else, A DOMAIN THAT HAS YOUR KEYWORDS IN IT will always be really good.

Well it sounds like your boss has given you mission impossible. Being top of Google for "Make Money Online" means you are competing with some big companies. How much do you think they are spending in time and money every month to keep their rankings? It's a hell of a lot more than a few blog comments and forum posts.

You are like the man on the street corner pedalling fruit juice and wondering why you are not as big as Coca Cola yet.

Not having a go at you - it is your boss who is clueless. Perhaps he made promises to a client to rank for those keywords and doesn't know how to do it.

My advice? Find a new job.

I think there might be a very high competition on keyword you are working for. So better to try with new keywords. And try t o do all these seo after a brake don't do all these thing with in a day of two.

SEO is really a tough job to perform. If you are not getting the ranking then there must an issue with the keywords or you are overly promoting your website. So do a little piece of work in well mannered way you will get good results.

>>I wonder if I'm doing anything wrong?

You do everything wrong. And you will soon see the results, but not the results you have expected, because trash backlinks may cause punishment.

People work for months for the 'make money online' keyword and do not succeed, because it is a very competitive niche.

I wonder how you work at a company if you use only spammy methods. Collect yourself and do real SEO.
