were would be the best place online to advertise? now i have tryed lots of things such as submitting my url to search engines, posting ads on my friends pages on facebook posting tweets on twitter

An advert needs to be seen by as many people as possible, but more importantly, by people who are likely to buy the advertised product or service. This is called targetting.
So you need to find websites where you think the visitors will look favourably at your product. Targetting advertising costs money but then you know roughly what the hit rate will be. If your income from your product outweighs your advertising budget, then hey presto.

I have the same question! What worse is Face book and Twitter is prohibited in my country !! So i can only depend on google. I want to cry!
