I know you can choose your audience for each post but i want to make my profile private completly. Is that possible?

Go to your privacy settings. Choose custom setting and then choose only you. That should do it.

You need to set privacy settings for that.
Go to Privacy Settings >> How You Connect >> Edit Settings
Select Friends or Friends of Friends accordingly
Under "Timeline and Tagging" in Edit Settings set as per your requirement.
In "Ads, Apps and Websites" Edit Settings
In "Public search" Edit Settings uncheck the box "Enable public search"
This way you can limit your profile search within facebook and in search engine results.
Also your timeline profile visibility is limited now.
