I'm a about to delete my Tumblr account because I don't use it.
If I ever want back, can I get the same username?

If you delete your tumblr account, your username will also be permanently deleted from their servers - that means, yes, you can get the same username

if you delete your account, you also delete your username and it can be free to anyone that wants to use it.
if you still want to sign up after you deleted, you username can be taken or free
