Its better to send friend request to friends further friend .
You have more chances of acceptance than to send stranger on FB.
I you send more requests one time than you can also be marked as SPAM user from FB.

Make more real friends as facebook is merely a social networking site. the more real friends you have the more Facebook friends you will have
