Possibly a scam website? Help? - Titan - 05-30-2014 11:08 AM

I got an email from a website called the "Police Country Watch." This website, (http://www.policecountrywatch.org) declares that I have looked up illegal pornography (I haven't) and that I need to pay a fee. I x'd out and it had a non stop pop up message, but the website seemed a little fake. I didn't trust it, because I haven't looked up anything illegal, and that it was stating an IP address that wasn't even mine. I went to my apartment complex's computers to go to the website on it real quickly to see the outcome, and sure enough, it said the exact same thing on the homepage as it did to me: "YOU'VE BEEN CAUGHT LOOKING UP ILLEGAL PORNOGRAPHY..." and it goes on. It states the exact same IP address even though I have my own router and everything. I wanted to have some feedback about this website, since I can't find any results when I search for the website in google to see if there's any other complaints. Finally, it asks that for the fee, I pay ONLINE, not by cash through the mail but online which is where I feel really hesitant. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Scam Scam Scam! I got that today. It told me to go to CVS drug store of Seven Eleven store to wire a $300.00 fine to them within 48 hours. I updated my virus protection. I do not know if that will help.
