Facebook etiquette: is it okay to join the Facebook groups of several colleges while you're trying to decide? - Hat289 - 11-09-2012 08:12 AM It's a question of Facebook etiquette. I'm trying to decide where to go for college, and I'm wondering if I can join the "Class of 2012" groups for several colleges. Is that okay, or is it frowned upon the join the group of a college which I'm not sure I'll actually be attending? - lemon.lime32 - 11-09-2012 08:21 AM thats okay. - Joe Fockyerdoder - 11-09-2012 08:21 AM its a dumb move imo - Bobby - 11-09-2012 08:21 AM If you join all those groups without knowing you are going to go there you will be known as a cheat for the rest of your life! Get real dude no one cares do it up! - Matt S - 11-09-2012 08:21 AM joining college is a huge choice so i dont see any problem with that. i think the worse thing that could happen if you join multiple is one person gets angry. if you choose a college you dont like you could be wasting money and time. that is a lot bigger of a deal then making a couple people potentially angry. Hope this helps! - Marissa M - 11-09-2012 08:21 AM I think it's a dumb move. It's rude and frowned upon. I say hold your horses until you decide. Good luck! |
