I am trying to get our new business' website listed on the search engines, I am looking for ways to do this that would be somewhat quick and not costly. Our website is http://www.GTBoatRentals.com

Google and other websites may crawl your website, but it may not rank highly in search engine results. If you are interested in making sure your site is in Google's index, go to Google Webmaster Tools (http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/).
You can submit your site for free and also a sitemap. This helps Google explore your site and gets it listed in the index.
To get your site higher ranked in search results, that is another topic that is much more difficult to figure out and deals with Search Engine Optimization.

In order to get a website properly indexed by all the major search engines the website will require an sitemap. An sitemap is a file on the website that shows the search engines exactly what files the website has.
