does my pc loads faster without internet connection? - Eric A - 05-31-2014 08:22 PM

coz were moving next week so we don't have internet connection so my question is can i load games more faster without internet? and is it true that internet connection makes ur pc slow a little bit or just the same speed?

i kind of think it's just the same speed. it shouldn't really affect the computer at all if you have internet connection or not.

Well if you are running an internet connection and browser etc it uses a tiny amount of resources in the background. So yes it does kinda slow things down but generally not to the point that you will notice any difference what so ever.
Games won't really go any faster without an internet connection.

Internet explorer is another program. so it's true that it will slow your pc,but not that much significantly, given that your pc is not an old one

it cause some slow traffic in the motherboard..speed of the traffic is busy when startup and running some application like antivirus update...if you have server,it will ask DNS/IP address from the server..the best way is just put out/turn off connection from your LAN...

Loading a program takes time. But if it's not being used, it doesn't waste much of the computer's time. (If you don't have internet, you don't have an internet connection. You can turn off your connections (right-click/disable) and thurn whichever one you need 9wire, wireless) when you get internet service again.
