so one app for example is called "friends revealed" and you have to earn points to find out who answered what questions about you. so theres a whole list of answers to questions about what people think of you. are these answers actually true? or do they just say people answered them when its just programmed in?

It really depends on the application. Some of them your friends probably did actually write, and others could be preprogrammed answers. Most likely it was preprogrammed, because that is how apps get more people to use them, by giving a crazy responce, but if you really wanna know, go ask the person yourself!
