To add on a previous question he doesnt fb much but when I have spoken to him on there he gets back to me which is a good sign I guess.
BUT would he think Im weird/clingy if I sent him another msg out of the blue?
I just want to say hello etc or is that weird? He talks to me alot in person so would it be ok? thanks

It would totally be ok! It's not weird to want to talk on fb!(: unless you're excessively messaging him, then it's creepie. But if he doesn't reply after you send one "hey" then don't message him again.

i dont think it will appear that youre clingy if you send him another msg, but dont send him just "hey" or "hi" or something short like that, leave him like a short 2 sentence message, idk what about.....but just initiate conversation and it should be easier to talk to him from there
