What are good blogging sites? - Timm M - 06-01-2014 07:54 PM

I'm a game designer and I wanna blog about the games I'm creating and the other things that pop in my mind. Is there any blog site that I can post Sed ideas without having ideas stolen? Isn't there something that acknowledges ideas as property and not public when posted on the internet?

Wordpress is the industry standard blog engine, if you see professional blogging in your future, setting up a free wordpress.com site would give you a start, your site and knowledge could be moved to paid hosting later. (about 17% of the top 1 million sites use Wordpress). Otherwise Google's Blogger.com is an alternative, they have no paid upgrades like most of the other "free" hosts. Invest in a domain name obtained through godaddy (with a coupon code) or namecheap, Blogger.com allows the name for free, wordpress.com has a fee.

Try a google search for, site:blogspot.com intitle:gaming
to see the style of blogger sites.

Try to treat it like a publishing business, non-gaming ideas that things that pop into your head may be better on a separate personal blog.

Its good that you want to do blogging. For blogging, Wordpress, Blogspot and weebly are very good sites. You can choose from any one of them. These are SEO friendly and can easily come into search results if posted with good content.
