how do i remove ads from google chrome? - reach for your dreamss. - 11-09-2012 08:18 AM

i've tried Ad Block but all that does is make a white blank space in the place where the ad was?! Everything was fine until i un-installed and re-installed google chrome and now there are ads on everything (facebook, youtube, twitter, etc.) But i want to keep using Google Chrome because its the fastest browser i've ever had.. Does anyone know how to get rid of the ads?

Try Adblock plus. It works perfectly for me, http://adblockplus.org/en/chrome/

it sounds like you may have at some point inadvertently installed something which is known as adware, its usually a toolbar or browser extension or software application, that once installed, starts inserting ads into web pages that you view. in order to get rid of this adware, remove any toolbars or extensions or other software that you have recently installed that you dont really need. If that doesnt fix it, the next step is to run some antimalware software such as malwarebytes antimalware or superantiyspyware.

Once you are rid of the adware, i recommend FB Purity for keeping the normal facebook ads away on Facebook.
