Internet Explorer issues.? - Aj - 06-02-2014 08:15 AM
OK so about a month ago, I was on internet explorer and a message popped up and I don't know exactly what it said but, It said that after 24 hours I would no longer be able to get on this browser? And that's exactly what happened. I can't get on it, and if I try to, It loads but the webpage to blank, but I have the Home, Favorites, and tools tabs in the upper right hand corner. I've tried deleting my history, logging of and back on, rebooting computer, and reconnecting to internet and none of it works! Please help me and tell me what to do. Because if someone sends me a link in a game or in a chat room or has a link on their Facebook posts, it sends me to internet explorer. I usually use Google Chrome as my default browser BTW.

Sounds like you picked up a virus.

Sounds like a virus, you will have to restore your machine to an earlier date (search windows help for how to do this)

I had Google Chrome and hate it!! It was screwing up my system too. You should still be able to excess Internet Explorer, I did. Actually, your best is the get into with BestBuy.com and have them REMOTELY go thru your system and fix it. I had PC Majic or whatever you call the thing on my computer and it almost caused my entire system to crash, so I got intouch with BestBuy and their experts and they remotely went thru my system and removed every part of that program that was causing problem with sytem. Yes, it cost me a little bit,but it damn well worth it!! I had recently went from a laptop with Google Chrome to a PC with internet Explorer. I recommend you have a PRO go thru your computer and do whatever is necessary to get back going again.
