Whats wrong with the black community? - Elijah - 06-03-2014 07:29 AM

First off im black so before anybody wants to call me racist stfu. But im just curious what you people think is wrong with the african-american people. Like my main problem is why are so many of us against intelligence. You notice that any black man who works hard and gets an education is called "white. If you dont say nigga every 5 seconds your called white. I feel like so many blacks are almost pressured by the AA community to change and I have been too throughout my whole life.
Im sick of our race being represented by people like lil wayne and big sean, who make all AA's look like idiots. I just mentioned to one of my friends who posted something about lil boosie free on facebook that Eddie Conway, a member of the BPP had been wrongfully aressted was also just freed and he disregarded it and was literally mad at me for it and said "he aint no real nigga." Im just wondering if theres any other black people that feel the same way. Thanks

Most people think that blacks are bad but only some are bad and the rest are good and both. Some people think that blacks are different then them but in my life I think everyone is same no difference in colors. The people who try to blame you that your black just say them shut their mouth because they try to seperate everyone. Never mind them just don't care think that their just saying some nonsense which doesn't make sense.

Like anyone that has suffered from abuse in the past, a group of people requires time to sift through the debris until they can determine what problems are self-inflicted and what problems are due to external influences.

Black people, on the whole, will only move forward as each individual black person moves forward.

Besides, no ENTIRE group or race has a complete grasp of normalcy or healthy living. There are still whites, native Americans, Asians, etc., that suffer from "ghetto mentality" thinking. So, you can't expect the entire African American race to suddenly become of one mind and act in their best interests.

There will always be those folks who are unable to advance themselves from the lower end of the bell curve.

All you can do is take care of your own life and hold yourself out as a good example of what is possible. Perhaps black people you come across will become influenced by your drive and industry and do likewise.

Good luck and have faith. Nothing lasts forever.
