Hacked twitter account? - Barty - 06-03-2014 10:14 AM

So I woke up this morning & a random account on twitter tweeted me a link that was for tinypic.com. I clicked on the link and immediately signed out my account , then I looked on the Internet for what to do & alot of websites said to change my password. I tried to log back in to twitter but when I put in my email & password it would go to back to the log in page without telling me why . Then when I typed in a wrong password it told me it was the wrong password . So I went to twitter & said I forgot my password & it sent me the link to get a new one. I chose my new password & then it went straight back to the login page . Instead of trying to log back in I sent twitter a report that my page has been hacked . I've been watching my account from my friends account but its not sending any tweets out to people. Did I lock the hacker out of my page??? & why won't it let me sign in at all??
*i meant to say when I clicked the line it went to a completely different website than tinypic

If you feel like your account has been compromised, take a few moments to review the account, if possible. Warning signs that your account has been hacked include, but aren't limited to unexpected tweets or direct messages sent from your account; behaviors such as following, un-following or blocking that were not done by you; or receiving a message from Twitter stating that you have recently updated the email address associated with your account.
