Let's say my class has a group chat. And if I blocked one of the other members of the chat, will we see our messages in the same chat? I know we won't be able to interract or communicate personally, but I wonder what this situation would be like.

They are blocked blocked. They will see your messages but you will not see there's. They can make it to were they will not see your messages if he blocks you first.
