Moving Internet Connection?!?!? - alice187 - 06-05-2014 05:40 AM im moving my internet from a room to another in my house but then it costs $130 to move the cable under the house.i got a wirelss router that is right next to the modem but i still want an internet connection in the other room? any suggestions how to get a connection in the other room and i got 2 laptops that connect to my connection as well thanks - 689 - 06-05-2014 05:53 AM What I can suggest is 1. Run a wire(s) from the modem to your room. and 2.You can buy a Powerline Ethernet Adapter. Its a plug which you can plug in and use as an internet connection. Here are some-http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&resnum=0&q=powerline+ethernet+adapter&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=X&oi=product_result_group&resnum=1&ct=title - Chris G - 06-05-2014 06:07 AM A wireless router or alternatively a wireless modem router should enable internet connectivity throughout your house, provided all your computers are fited with a wireless card. You can buy a wireless card for desktops too. - Tj - 06-05-2014 06:09 AM Run a cable (cat5) or get a wireless card. |
