on my Facebook band profile it i have 540 likes, but next to it it says 505 people are talking about this?
this is definently not the case, as there are no talking about on my profile. is there a way to delete it or hide it while still showing me likes?

no, "talking about it" means that people shared it, and you cannot prevent people from sharing it
