Should I be worried about Google making changes to how it deals with SEO? - 589 - 06-05-2014 10:04 PM

With ever changing Google policies, should I be worried about my website's ranking dropping or being removed from index if I hire a company to do optimization on it or should I just leave it to them to deal with these changes over time?

Generally, every professional company knows of the changes to policies and how Google and other search engines index websites. They do their SEO keeping that in mind. And once they are working with you, it is their responsibility to deal with such things so you can just kick back and relax. Yeah, some changes do reflect on rankings in some ways for certain keywords but that is where the difference between a professional company and nonprofessional one is. A good company knows how to deal with such things.

It all depends on what the focus of your website is. If it is a business or ecommerce site, I would be concerned. One of the updates called Panda caused a significant drop in website traffic. A company will help you retain or increase your ranking.
