I originally joined it to ask people to help me on math problems, but that was when i was in middle school, after a while, i just started answering questions, polls & surveys is an easy 2 pts.

Everything else sucks(or causes problems in the long run) and thus I too prefer Yahoo Ans. Pretty much the same reason as yours
Plus I learn a lot through other people's(around the globe) doubts/questions.

I started on here when I was a confused and curious 13 year old and had a lot of questions about life and such. Then a few years later I came back and mucked around for a bit in the Polls and Surveys section. Now I'm back because I had a question to ask and I got stuck answering questions again. I'm not sure why I'm here, but for some reason I still find it enjoyable.
