If you want to advertise on the Internet? - Jesús Antonio - 06-06-2014 08:47 AM

I have heard there are twits, blogs, Facebook and I suspect other means. Can anybody give me the range of different products available to advertise and make one's venture known to others on the Internet?

People with large twitter subscriber lists will send out a "Tweet" on your behalf for a fee.

Similarly owners of newsletter email lists can insert your ad in their flyer or do a "solo ad" on your behalf for a fee.

Sponsored search ads like on Google or Bing provide qualified prospects actively seeking a particular product or information.

Banner ad networks can place your advertisement on thousands of publisher web sites, you may be ble to pay only for user actions (clicks) but paying for each impression is more common, paying $1 to $5 per 10000 impressions is probably most common.

There are brokers where you can arrange more direct ad placements on web sites such as buyads.com or buysellads.com.

Facebook has it's own ad system for reaching their 800 Million members, it's strength is the detailed demographic targeting based on user profile information, you can choose to only advertise to single women engaged to be married between 18 and 30, who live within 20 miles of your city.
