eBay people please help! 10 POINTS? - kat - 06-07-2014 01:06 AM

So i won a nintendo gamecube from this guy last wednesday for about $56.00. I keep trying to find if it has a tract number, but it says he hasn't shipped it yet. it just want to make this clear, "There is no tract number, therefore he has not shipped it. It has not gone out of his house to the postal service."

I looked under the shipment information, and it said that he would ship it within 2 days within the payment. That means he should of shipped it by now.

I messaged him but he doesn't reply back. How can I get in touch with him to find out what the heck is going on. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to sell something online, and not give it to me. Can some please help??
The payment went through the night I bought it. Jesus

it's called a "tracking number" and if the guy is a private seller you can never tell what they are going to do, check if your payment has gone through

i would give it a week or so and if still nothing then leave negative feedback and get the police involved

Don't worry! Ebay protects its buyers in situations like this. You're absolutely right; the seller can't just charge you for an item and refuse to ship it to you. Here's what you should do:

Since he did not respond to your messages, just open a case in Ebay's Resolution Center (go to the link I provided in the source for detailed information on how to do this).

The seller will be notified that you've opened a case against him. He will either have to agree to ship you the item and provide a tracking number, OR he will have to refund you 100%.

If he doesn't respond to the case within 7 days, you can take further action -- CALL EBAY. You'll have to spend about 10 minutes talking to robots so they can direct you to the correct department, but once you get connected to a representative, they will be able to look at your account and get you your refund. I've called them before; they're always very nice and know what they're doing.
