^ This guy has Full Sleeve Tattoo's on both of his arms and his chest too. I don't know how he joined the Air Force with all those Tattoo's... Or did he get the tattoos after he joined the Air Force... please help.

After you join the Air Force you cannot get a tattoo that covers more than 25% of your body. He probably got them before he joined and got a waiver.

My guess is that he may have been in and had the tat before the policy changed. Under those circumstances, he would be grandfathered.

No you can't. He was already in when he had them done and before the policy was changed. There are a lot of personnel in the military who have full sleeves and are grandfathered into the regulation.

I see it all the time

LMFAO! I'm betting he was ecstatic when DADT was repealed!

Ask your recruiter.

He got them before the rules changed. As it stands now he can NEVER be considered to become a commissioned officer and his promotion and reenlistment may be affected in the future.

Sleeves (full or half) are not allowed in any service for new enlistees or those currently serving who do not already have them.
