Do India have its own internet service provider ? - Abhishek - 06-08-2014 07:17 AM

Today one of my folks say me that India do not have its own internet provider. He said that Singapore is providing Internet to India through OFC cables laid down under sea. Is this all true??

India have several routes to access WAN and connect to www. That may be one of them. VSNL initiated as ISP in India more than a decade ago, now BSNL is a major provider you know that. India has renowned service providers which provide internet access to other countries as well such as Bharti Airtel.
