Do you believe this when people tell there stories? - Nikki - 06-08-2014 07:49 AM

On the internet either or in a lesbian group on facebook saying that they found Jesus and they are no longer a lesbian or no longer desired woman they've changed and they feel better about themselves from there past being how true is this I don't believe this one bit from people they are either just hiding themselves to fit in, or they where not even fully lesbian or gay to begin with?

They're still lesbian. They probably got tormented and believed the hell nonsense, so they hide their true feelings to "go to heaven".. pathetic. -__-

No I dont. Primarily because I know that sexuality cant be changed, and secondly because the vast amount of people using and performing things like reparative therapy on people are confirmed to still be in same sex relationships.

Two of the male founders of Exodus International actually quit and married each other. Im happy that theyve stopped lying to themselves but its just pathetic...

I think it is possible.

I don't think it happens that way for most people though.. If gays believe that homosexuality is a sin or wrong, I think all they can do is abstain from being in any kind of relationship. They should not hurt a straight person by getting involved with them when they know they are gay. It's not fair to themselves or the other person.

I presume them to be lying.

Because no credible science has shown any such "pray the gay away" treatment to be effective in any sense.

Claims made by anonymous people on the internet have ZERO credibility. I think your explanations are much more plausible, along with the simple explanation that they are just lying sacks of excrement,

No. No one can change their sexuality, All they can do is decide to refrain from any romantic or sexual behaviors with a member of the same sex. If they decide to abstain from relationships with a desired partner and denying who they are in favor of some religion, then that is their right, and no one's business but theirs. But that sounds like a sad, lonely, pathetic existence to me.
