I invited a big group of people for a family get together 3 weeks ago, and so far only 2 people responded. It was a "yes" "no" or "maybe" event on facebook. It makes me sad that people don't have the courtesy to even respond. Now I feel like I shouldn't have bothered to plan anything. Thoughts on that?

They probably can't or don't want to go and either ignore those invites on facebook in general or just didn't want to be harsh and say no. In the future, if you're going to have a family get together it's probably better to plan it on the phone than through a facebook invite.
