Should parents monitor there children's texting and social media conversations and actions ? - Destiny Carrasco - 06-09-2014 05:30 PM I had to write an essay on this topic and has been on my mind ever since .. & I'd like To know What's your opinion ? - Adullah M - 06-09-2014 05:44 PM Should not do that but can instruct them how to use it in proper manner. - 324 - 06-09-2014 05:52 PM Nah. Just stay in their child's life and build a close and trusting bond with them, that they wouldn't wanna break and fell bad if they did. - Mindy T - 06-09-2014 06:04 PM I feel due to the content on social media etc.- parents really have a duty to pay attention and monitor the use. I don't believe it should be framed as an imposition but rather as safety. I feel as adults and parents we are not authoritarian administrators of rules but in a position to reason with our children in open communication where we serve as mentors.. I also believe this involves allowing our children to be privy to see what we engage in with social media. - JORGE N - 06-09-2014 06:17 PM Parents probably should. Whether they do or not is another thing altogether. I think any effort made by parents to understand and help guide their children is not a wasted effort. - nihaome - 06-09-2014 06:22 PM yes they should cos there are so many porn sites out there. |
