Well, for one thing facebook allows you to find students that are attending your school, unlimited photo albums, don't receive spam, and people are only allowed to have an account with their school emails. Also, facebook has a better user interface than myspace but myspace allows anyone to get an account. So, the decision of whether facebook is better than myspace depends on what you are looking for.
It generates revenue from advertising including banner ads and sponsored groups.
