I am getting so irritated by them, I'm on YouTube listening to music while playing my ROM hack and a damn advertisement comes on and it annoys the hell out of me there's even one on the screen right now.
where are they all coming from why do they even exist? has Google + bought the whole internet and did to it what they did to YouTube?

You are not alone. Every time I'm on Youtube I just ignore the advertisements. Yahoo has advertisements too. People advertise because they need their s*** to be bought. Google Adsense offers its users a zillion possibilities for advertising their stuff.
In order to escape ads, I would try out some Ad-block plugins on the browser. Or getting Tor.
