I created my account on instagram with my iphone. If I log out, can my friend make an account? I heard that you can only make one account per device you used (iphone, ipad, etc)

Yes. I've made 3 accounts on my ipod. The only thing that'd happen is if you keep loggig into one account then another (continuously) it could get "locked". And you'd have to wait 20 Min (sometimes less) To log back in.

You are right. I think you can only make an account if you download the app on a apple device.
