Do I take facebook too seriously? - 846 - 06-12-2014 07:54 AM

I find myself getting extremely angry over things that happen on facebook. For example, if someone I know from work or school rejects my friend request I develop a strong hatred for that person. I start to ignore them in person and treat them rudely if they speak to me. Also, if someone "likes" a photo or status of mine I go on their profile and try to "like" something of theirs. However, if someone stops liking my statuses I stop liking any of their stuff. For example today I put an interesting status up that got 10 likes. I also liked two of my friend Jens statuses. This evening I logged on and noticed that Jen had not liked anything of mine. Instead she had liked and commented on one of our other friends photos. I, in turn, "unliked" the two statuses of hers that I had originally "liked." I keep tabs on the friends of mine that regularly comment or like my photos. I also keep track of who takes the time out to private message me. I accept just about any friend requests that are sent to me and "like" one of their statuses just for the kindness of friending me. But if I don't get a like, comment, or message within one month that person is deleted. Do you think I am taking facebook too seriously or are you like this too? Thanks!!!

Yes. Get a life, or do a media purge and you'll see what real life is, and how much you miss.

Yes, try to minimize your time on facebook, for example 2 hours a day, make something usefull, go outside to play, walk .. read books, watch tv/movies, go out with friends... and don't take facebook too seriously.

Use facebook only for fun and entertainment.

Yes you do but it's perfectly natural. Still, it's something you might want to think more about, as you might actually be addicted to Facebook.. which can have other negative impacts on your life and health.

Maybe you should try deactivating your Facebook for a week to see what it's like to live without it. You can reactivate it at any time and everything will still be there.

Here is a simple guide on why and how you can deactivate your Facebook profile http://deletefacebook.info/facebook-how-to/deactivate-account/

Depend on condition.
