I have a question about Ebay!!? - LowRiderGirl - 06-12-2014 12:51 PM

If i were to place a bid on an item and someone else places a higher bid after me, would i be able to bid again (on the same item)??
Thank You!!

Yes you can! You can bid over someone else's even if you've did bid before. Which is why sometimes you bid the highest but at the last moment someone beats you lol XD. Hope this helped Smile

Yes, you can bid as much as you want and any amount you want but if no one else out-bids you, you are stuck having to buy the item.

yes you can bid as many times as you want

Yes, of course you can keep bidding.

Many people only bid in the last 15 minutes of an auction, if you only bid in the last 2 minutes is called sniping.

Yes, you can keep on bidding as many times as you want, until the time runs out and the auction ends. When the auction ends, the last bidder who offered the highest price gets the item for sale.

Yes, but some bidders use a snipe program that bids in the last few seconds meaning there's not enough time for you to see you got outbid and then bid again. Decide what your max bid amount is and put that in and hope it's enough. eBay only uses as much of your max bid amount to be one bid more than the next highest bidder. By example: So if you put $500 in and the highest other bidder put $200 in, you'd win it a $210. It's only when another bids more than $500 that you stop winning the auction.
