Five important things to remember about Langston Hughes poetry? - 667 - 06-12-2014 03:09 PM

I was looking through sites to see some important things about Langston Hughes poems and I know Wikipedia is not the best place to look for anything so I came here. I want to hear what you think are the five most important things about his poems.

You're right, Wikipedia is not the best place to look for anything, but neither is Yahoo Answers, and neither is a diet of 100% websites and no other sources.

There are a lot of books about Hughes and about the Harlem Renaissance writers in general. Your library probably has some of these; the library also probably has access to a lot of educational online databases that you can't get to via Glooble or Yahoo or your regular internet connection. Ask a librarian how you can access these materials. They will probably have tons of information on this question.

He was an American black writer and poet who wrote for the Harlem Renaissance. He wrote "A Dream Deferred," which is a classic American poem and his most famous piece.
