Five important things to remember about Langston Hughes poetry? - 667 - 06-12-2014 03:09 PM I was looking through sites to see some important things about Langston Hughes poems and I know Wikipedia is not the best place to look for anything so I came here. I want to hear what you think are the five most important things about his poems. - Abu Hamza - 06-12-2014 03:13 PM You're right, Wikipedia is not the best place to look for anything, but neither is Yahoo Answers, and neither is a diet of 100% websites and no other sources. There are a lot of books about Hughes and about the Harlem Renaissance writers in general. Your library probably has some of these; the library also probably has access to a lot of educational online databases that you can't get to via Glooble or Yahoo or your regular internet connection. Ask a librarian how you can access these materials. They will probably have tons of information on this question. - Jake - 06-12-2014 03:25 PM He was an American black writer and poet who wrote for the Harlem Renaissance. He wrote "A Dream Deferred," which is a classic American poem and his most famous piece. |
