Free ways to advertise a local business? - Meh, Internets - 06-12-2014 11:22 PM

What are some good free ways to advertise a local business? It's a small PC repair service I started for some extra money, and I need to know how to get people to know about it.

Google maps, if there is a way to put yourself on there. That is the first and often only place I go to when I am looking for anything. Make sure you create a website though so people can see what you're all about.

The best way i can think of is starting a group for your service on Facebook (if you have an account).

This is because you can suggest the group to your friends that live near you. They will learn about your service and possibly be your customers.

If you don't have Facebook, then advertise in the local newspaper in the classifieds or even post professional looking signs around your town.

I hope this helps, Good LUCKK!
