The main thing I want to hide, is myself from people's "People you may know" section. I don't want to be a suggested friend. I want my profile to be hidden.
Is there a way to do this?

Just how would people you know find you if you sign up with an alias, the only way people can find anyone is to search for you, if your name is say "ball sack 12" how would they know?.
