you know on the left side under all the Favorites there were those friends icons that showed who was online and who wasn't. recently i noticed i don't see them anymore. did facebook remove it or is there something i need to do to fix it?

it's not something you can "fix" - if you are trying to find out who is online (or at least the people who arent hiding from you for being online) look in the bottom RIGHT corner for your chat list
that isnt always 100% accurate either tho, since the people using phones always show online when really they arent
if you are trying to find people who are currently online, facebook is not a good place to be doing it
