Why is Twitter a pain to set up, how do i start following my Facebook friends? - bigmothafucka - 11-09-2012 08:28 AM

u can invite by email and by searching names. i have like 3 contacts in my email so thats pointless and the other way i see is to search the names of all my friends which would take forever and be a real pain in the ass. is there another easier way to add my facebook friends?

um, twitter is very user friendly, firstly, you facebook friends need to have a twitter acount, if you send them a request to start one, and they do through the link they recieved, you will automaticly fallow eachother, if that doesnt work, brows for their username, and when you find it, click on the follow option

and when you pick a username, dont use one that makes people question your personality everytime someone sees it >.>

I'd love to agree with the last response you received. Unfortunately I cannot.

Twitter, as a stand alone client is indeed very user unfriendly. Without awesome third party applications like

* Twitter Grader
* Twitter Karma
* Tweet Later
* And yes, even TweetDeck

Twitter would not be experiencing the success that it is having. However, whatever the case, building a successful Twitter account will indeed take time but it is time well spent if you have a cause or a mission to promote like I do with my @BodyByChocolate account.

Keep reading and I'll tell you of my Twitter EBook that I released earlier this week - It is free for the taking.

One plausible option to your delima is indeed TweetDeck. Not only can you follow multiple accounts with this tool, but you can also follow your FaceBook profile. Then as people in your FaceBook world send out messages you will be able to follow them because you can see their posts coming spinning by.

Here is the link for TweetDeck

Another answer, even easier for you to your trouble would be to automate the process using a Twitter widget on Facebook.

> Login to Twitter
> Scroll to bottom and select "goodies"
> Select "Applications"
> Select "Widgets"
> Select "FaceBook" and follow the process to have that widget installed on your FaceBook profile.

Now, whenever you tweet from Twitter all your FaceBook friends will see it and be able to follow you if they so choose.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but building your FaceBook world took some effort too, no? With a little bit of effort on Twitter you will realize far better results than FaceBook was ever able to provide for you. Especially if you focus that effort by reading my free EBook on how I took my own account from 0 to the top 1% of Twitter in about 6 months. The best part is the EBook is completely free. Just Tweet @BodyByChocolate with a request for the EBook and I'll let you know how to receive your own copy of the material.
