How do I block gay content showing up in google search? - 678 - 06-15-2014 07:20 AM

Is there a way to block specific words or images from ever showing up in search engines? Is there a way to filter out specific topics based on certain words in new websites?

I could tell you how to do that with Google and many other search sites - and its very easy - but I won't as you sound like a homophobe.

Would you happen to be searching straight porn? xD

Man, I'm gay, but all my straight friends have accidentally seen gay porn, or 'related content', on occasion since it has the habit of cropping up on most porn sites and/ or searches.

I'm not sure if there's a way to specifically block it, other than to block 'adult' content. So I can only suggest to really refine what you're typing in or perhaps you can ask on a google forum?

You would think there'd be a way to block specific topics...

Generally you have to be looking for something lgbt to get lgbt results, as Google does not randomly ad lgbt content to your search.

If you do search lgbt content you will have no shortage of it, these day usually it's some christian group trying to force their religion on us through some law, how do I block that hate from my search.

Something you want to tell us about your searches.

What PattyM said.
